Coastal’s Crab Cruise is the perfect way to spend a few hours on the saltwater with your best friends. While stuffing your face with delicious snacks, sipping on cold beverages, and soaking up the rays of the Pacific Northwest sunshine in the calm inlet waters, you will enjoy the gorgeous views of Tofino from the other side of the harbor. Grab a saltwater fishing license, an icebox with coolies, your best mates, and jump in our Grady White fishing boat!

THE EXPERIENCE

During your crab fishing tour, we will cruise the inner channels of Clayoquot Sound, anchoring up at our favorite shell fishing locations and slay some crustaceans. Let us do all the work or we can show you step by step what to do.  It is common to get over 20 keeper Dungeness crab in less than half an hour when you crab the Coastal Charters way.

While we are hauling in the bounty, keep your eyes peeled for ‘hangry’ grey whales, stalking orcas, breaching humpback whales, playful porpoises, soaring eagles, curious sea lions, stinky otters, and a whole lot more! Have a blast on the ocean and come home with a pile of crab (4 per guest) for the cookout later that evening at Mackenzie Beach.

This is the ‘no brainer tour’ with Coastal Charters in Tofino, British Columbia so come out of your shell and try something new! Crab pot and cooking accessories’ can be added upon request with all you need for a beach fire crab cookout! No hermits allowed.

I’ve been out a handful of times with Brin. His extensive knowledge of the local waters is a sure shot to catch a nice salmon, add that with his technical knowledge of fishing and you’re guaranteed to learn a thing or two as well. He also put down a crab trap before we started fishing, nothing beats a nice Dungeness before a BBQ’d Spring… Brin’s boat is perfect for a friendly group, he’s also got the tunes to attract the fish. Every time i’ve been on the boat with Brin it’s been nothing but a blast! would rate 6 stars but 5 is the max.

An experience to remember
If your looking for a fun time on the water look no further. We went out for salmon but unfortunately we had only one bite. That being said captain Brin knew a spot we could have lunch and pull in a couple of Lingcod. Not only that, he also had a few crab traps set for us. We may have not got that salmon but we didn’t leave with out a feast. Truly a master of the waters, can’t wait for the next trip.
