Explore Tofino and the inlet of Clayoquot Sound is well known as a common residence and feeding ground for orca whales. You may also see grey whales, massive pods of porpoises, harbor seals, sea lions, and roving packs of sea otters on the inside channels.

WILD WEST COAST LIFE
If you enjoy birds, you will love this tour! You’ll see an array of birds in their natural habitats including bald eagles, ospreys, marbled murrelets, blue herons and so much more!
You may also spot a black bear with her cubs foraging along the beach and enjoying a seafood feast. In a rare opportunity, you may be graced with a wolf beach-combing for lunch and cooling off in the sea while taking a swim. Every new glimpse affords unequaled views of beautiful Tofino, offering you snowcapped mountains, expansive ocean vistas, untouched sandy beaches, and old-growth forests that extend for thousands of miles. Visit Freedom Cove, a completely off-grid and sustainable floating community in Cypress Bay, designed as an artist’s retreat located in Clayoquot Sound.
ADD ON ADVENTURES
Don’t limit yourself to being on the boat the entire time and instead double up your wildlife tour with an add-on of Hot Springs Cove Adventure in the beautiful Maquinna Provincial Marine Park, located 20 nautical miles north of Tofino. You can also visit Lone Cone for a hike up the mountainside to see breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Clayoquot region. Or, for a more cultural experience, we can organize a guided walk along the Wild Side Trail in Ahousat.

i have gone fishing with Coastal Charters for 2 years. The experience was amazing! Brin and Gary are very knowledgeable of the area and we were on the fish! Not only that, Gary pointed out the different marine life, porpoises jumping, sea lions, humpback whales in the area which he offered to take me to see so I could experience it.
